9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: Tropical Cyclone Khanun will move across the northern part of the South China Sea today and tomorrow in the general direction of Leizhou Peninsula to Hainan Island. Under the combined effect of Khanun and the northeast monsoon, it will be windy with heavy showers over the south China coastal areas. With the gradual departure of Khanun, the coast of Guangdong will be dominated again by the northeast monsoon and the weather will improve midweek this week.
