9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: Tropical Cyclone Saudel will edge slightly closer to the coastal areas of Guangdong and turn to a westerly track today, moving towards the vicinity of Hainan Island and the central part of Vietnam in the following couple of days. The northeast monsoon now affecting the coast of Guangdong will strengthen gradually this morning. It will be windy over the coastal areas and the northern part of the South China Sea in the next couple of days. An anticyclone aloft is expected to strengthen early next week and the weather will improve over southern China. Besides, a broad area of low pressure will affect the central part of the South China Sea midweek next week.
